For suppliers

A customer has asked you some questions.

Vendwise is the tool your customer uses to understand the services they buy. They have asked you to answer a questionnaire and share some documents. Here is what to expect.

What happens

Six steps, at your pace.

  1. 01

Open the link in your email

The invitation was sent to one address and only works for that address. It says which customer is asking and about which service.

  2. 02

    Set up your account

Choose your name and a password, or sign in with your Microsoft work account. Next time, you sign in with your password and a code we email you.

  3. 03

    Answer at your own pace

Answers save as you go. Come back as often as you need until you submit.

  4. 04

    Bring in colleagues

Hand any question to someone who knows the answer. They get their own email and see what they need.

  5. 05

    Attach what you already have

Certificates, policies and reports you already hold. Say what each document is, and for certificates, its number and dates.

  6. 06

    Submit

Your customer is told. If something changes later, such as where you host their data, you can tell them from the same place.

Who sees what

Your answers go to the customer who asked. Nothing more.

  • The customer who invited you

Sees your answers and the documents you shared with them through that invitation.

  • Nobody else

There is no public directory of suppliers, and Vendwise does not pass your documents to other customers.

  • Your documents stay yours

Evidence belongs to your organisation’s own space. Sharing is limited to the customer you are answering.

  • Their review is theirs

Your customer’s internal notes, findings and decisions are private to them, so you will not see them either.

  • Files are handled carefully

Uploads are scanned for malware before anyone can open them, stored encrypted in London, and every download is recorded.

  • No charge to answer

You do not need to buy anything to respond to an invitation.

Questions

Something not right?

The link says it has expired. Invitations have an end date. Ask the customer who sent it for a new one.

It was sent to the wrong person. Only the invited address can open it, so ask the customer to invite the right colleague. Once you are in, you can hand questions to others yourself.

You are not sure the email is genuine. Check with your contact at the customer through a channel you already use. We will never ask for your password by email.
